1947 - We kijken in noordwestelijke richting vanaf de Houtstraat richting de Augustijnen­straat.
In het midden de restanten van de St. Augustinuskerk waarvan de toren inmiddels is afgebroken, daarachter zijn nog net de restanten van de St Stevenskerk te zien en links op de achtergrond de 4 schoorsteenpijpen van de oude Elektrische Centrale aan de Waalkade. 		1947 - Looking north-west from Houtstraat towards Augustijnen­straat.
In the middle are the ruins of St. Augustine Church whose tower already has been demolished, behind it the remnants of St. Stephen's Church and to the left in the background the four chimneys of the old Power Plant on the Waalkade.
