Ruďnes rond de Korte Molenstraat:

De torenspits van de Dominicuskerk is het enige ongeschonden bouwwerk op deze foto, die kort na het bombardement werd gemaakt vanaf de hoek van de Zieker- en Molenstraat. De puinhopen vooraan zijn van winkels aan de Korte Molenstraat. Links staat het uitgebrande pand van Van der Werff, dat ondanks zijn slechte staat nog tot omstreeks 1950 zou blijven staan.

Angelus tower of the St. Canisius Church:

From the same house, you here see a part of the front and collapsed roof of the church. Behind this, at the crossing of the roofs of the choir and the transept, is the steep Angelus tower. In the first repairs of the church in 1944-1946, this striking little tower disappeared.
Below right, a part of the presbytery can just be discerned. This building, which was built at the same time as the church, remained intact, and now houses a shop.
