Het Victoriahotel:

Het Victoriahotel, op de hoek Van Schaeck Mathonsingel-Stationsplein-Van Oldenbarneveltstraat, stond precies tegenover het Oranjehotel. Het was een kleiner hotel, maar niet minder imposant. Op 22 februari brandde het helemaal uit en hierboven ziet u het trieste resultaat.
De foto toont de voorgevel aan de Van Schaeck Mathonsingel. Links kijkt u op de achterzijde van de huizenrij aan de Van Oldenbarneveltstraat.

The Victoriahotel, at the corner of Van Schaeck Mathonsingel-Stationsplein-Van Oldenbarneveltstraat, was located exactly opposite the Oranjehotel. It was a smaller hotel, but not less imposing. On February 22, it was completely reduced to ashes, and above you see the sad result.
