Hoek Hertogstraat-Wintersoord:

Nogmaals een blik op de hoek Wintersoord-Hertogstraat met het uitgebrande woon- en winkelcomplex dat kort vóór de Tweede Wereldoorlog was verrezen op de plek waar tot in 1935 de stadsschouwburg stond. Uiterst rechts zijn de bomen aan het Kelfkensbos te zien. Na de oorlog zijn de resterende muren afgebroken en is een nieuw, modern complex verrezen.

Corner of Hertogstraat-Wintersoord:

Again a view of the corner Wintersoord-Hertogstraat with the burnt out block of houses and shops, which had been built just before World War II, on the spot where the city theatre had been until 1935. To the far right, the trees of the Kelfkensbos can be seen. After the war, the remaining walls were broken down, and a new, modern block of buildings appeared.
