Ruïne van de Sint-Dominicus:

Van de in oorsprong Middeleeuwse kerk aan de Broerstraat bleef weinig meer over nadat het in september 1944 met de omliggende bebouwing in vlammen was opgegaan. Hoewel enkele muren en ook de toren - op de ansicht niet zichtbaar - overeind bleven staan, werden de laatste resten begin jaren '50 alsnog gesloopt.

Ruin of the St. Dominicus Church:

Of the originally medieval church in the Broerstraat, not much was left after it had caught fire in September 1944, together with the surrounding buildings. Although some of the walls, and also the tower - not visible in the picture - remained standing, the last remains were demolished in the beginning of the 1950s.
